5. Mpape Crushed Rock (Mpape, Abuja)

18.5km (25mins drive) from Aso Garden Estate, Karsana is 'Crushed Rock' an abandoned quarry located in Mpape, Abuja. Closed since 2010 however recently opened, it has become a popular location for tourists and locals in the city. The lake and high cliffs make it an attractive hiking location and picnics.


4. Almat Farms (Kuje, Abuja)

Almat Farms is a beautiful panorama of delight with over 40 hectares of beautiful landscape. It is the epitome of Agro-tourism in Abuja where innovative farming integrated with hospitality, recreation and lifestyle enhances the agricultural value chain. Sports and activities like polo, volleyball, football, tennis, hiking, picnics and snooker are a few of the many activities that take place here. 3. Usuma Lower Dam (Bwari, Abuja)

Usuma Dam is a man-made dam that is surrounded by an outstretched lake and fall mountains located at Ushafa in Bwari along Dutse-Bwari road. Built in 1990, it is one of the four operating dams that supplies the city with drinking water. A lot of fun activities are carried out there which includes hiking, boat riding, picnics and swimming. The dam itself is 22.4km (24minutes) away from Aso Garden Estate, Karsana.


2. Jabi Lake (Jabi, Abuja)

Jabi Lake is a water body formed from a man-made earth dam. It is notable as relaxation spot with offers an inexpensive ways to have fun like having picnics with family and friends, going on a date or simply to get lost in the pages of a book. Other activities include boat rides and swimming. Located at the shores of the largest lake in abuja are Jabi Lake Mall with Shoprite, The Game and Silverbird Cinemas. There is also a Jabi Boat Club catering to adventurous, fun and experience seekers, with various water themed events, wide range of luxury boats and a World-class Woodhouse restaurant and bar. It is located at Jabi district of Abuja which it is about 21 mins away from Aso Garden Estate, Karsana.


1. Zuma Rock (Niger State, Abuja)

ZUMA ROCK Among other iconic natural wonders in Nigeria, Zuma Rock is a large natural monolith. The famous Zuma Rock featured on Nigeria's 100 naira currency bank note is located along the main road from Abuja to Kaduna off Madalla. It is approximately 29minutes (32.8)km away from Aso Garden Estate, Karsana.
